Job Description:
GenomeWeb News is looking for an experienced journalist to edit an online newsletter covering proteomics and high-throughput protein science.

WHO WE WANT: A motivated reporter who can uncover scoops for this publication, which is focused on high-throughput protein characterization technologies, including mass spectrometry, liquid chromatography, microarrays, and other systems. This beat will require a mix of science, technology, and business reporting, so applicants should have experience filing stories under deadline in at least one of those areas. Familiarity with biology or biotechnology is strongly desirable.

WHAT YOU’LL DO: Cover the companies and organizations that develop, sell, and use technologies for proteomics and protein characterization. You will be filing breaking news in real time as well as longer enterprise pieces on a rolling deadline.
